G'day Paradox!

Thank you so much for taking the time to give my work a peek. I've chosen these two samples because I think they best represent my ability to meet the expectations in your brief, and also to emphasise that I'm always thinking about the visual elements that play alongside my text.

The first sample should give you some insight into how I approach and map out my branching narratives, as well as scripting (specifically Inkle and CSS).

With the second sample I'm hoping to show how I try to create worlds for players to co-exist in. Establishing a canvas for players to dive a little deeper into on their own accord.

I have plenty more work available, so if you'd like to explore anything else please feel free to check out my other writing samples.

BRANCHING NARRATIVE (AND SCRIPTING)

The opening chapter to an interactive fiction about one half of a queer couple escaping Moscow during the fall of the Soviet Union. Character and relationship focussed, featuring a gruff granny with a gun. CW: Coarse Language

written using Ink, Inkle's narrative scripting language

Three interconnected locales with lore and accompanying narration to introduce players to them. Built with the spelunking pirate (and others) in mind.
